Operations Review
Talking things through is a great way to understand what’s working and what’s not — so why not talk it through with me?
My operations review is a quick way to audit your processes and spot the most valuable improvement opportunities.
How I make your business run smoother
- Streamlining processes and removing duplication
- Uncovering opportunities for automation
- Understanding what tech/apps/software are available (and limiting number of platforms)
- Smoothing pain points for your customers
- Identifying low-hanging fruit from a process, customer experience, offering/services, or communications perspective
The Operations Review process and cost
1. Discovery call – free
A quick chat (15min) to talk through where you’re stuck or what you want to improve
2. Operations Review package – $500*

I help you execute the action plan

Real examples of what this looks like in practice
Example: Making a form easier for clients to use
The problem: An illustrator working with government departments was using a Google Form that required sign-in with a Google account. This meant their clients often used personal emails instead of their official work ones.
Action plan: I suggested removing the file upload from the form, so it could be filled in without logging in (and collecting files separately).
Outcome: Their clients could now use their work emails, and my client stopped receiving personal email addresses by accident.
Example: Automating a manual waitlist
The problem: A health practitioner was manually keeping track of their waitlist, which was taking time and sometimes led to confusion.
Action plan: We moved to a booking system that could handle the waitlist automatically and sync with their calendar.
Outcome: The waitlist now runs itself — clients are added automatically and get notified when it’s their turn, with no spreadsheets needed.
Example: Knowing where the team is
The problem: A logistics company didn’t have an easy way to check where their vehicles were — whether parked or on the move.
Action plan: I recommended using AirTags to track vehicle locations in real time.
Outcome: The team can now see exactly where each vehicle is, which helps with planning and cuts down on back-and-forth.
Example: Quickly finding past work
The problem: A photographer kept getting stuck when clients asked to see specific kinds of past work (eg. “what portrait photography have you done recently?”) — they had to dig through folders to find it.
Action plan: We built a simple project index that was easy to search.
Outcome: Now, they can find examples in seconds and share them on the spot.
What my clients have said
“We were looking for clarity on how to grow our company, and Jess delivered exactly that. During our session, she quickly helped us identify key weaknesses in our processes and offered practical, tailored suggestions for improvement. Her Process Review covered both immediate fixes — like staff issues and truck tracking — as well as longer-term strategies around scheduling and warehousing. It gave us a clear, actionable roadmap for moving forward.”
— Get It Gone Australia (Removals & Logistics)
“We had been using some manual systems for our waitlist, invoice and product inventory tracking, which the review helped us automate and simplify. Jess also helped us migrate valuable client data into the new booking system, saving us hours.”
